Camping Trip

Every year for the last 8 or 9 years we have gone camping with our friends the Tye's and the Hicks. This year we went back to a tent, the first time in 8 years. It was fun, but I am very much a trailer camper. We had the big kids (Savannah, Camron, and Madison) sleep in our tent, and then Nick slept in the cab of the truck and Shawn and I put a mattress in the back of the truck and put a tarp over it. The mattress was great but unfortunately I am very, very claustrophobic so the tarp freaked me out a little bit. But two nights is not very long and the days were great fun so it was a great trip over all. We took a small hike up to Doughnut Falls and let the kids run wild in the campground. The grownups just got to relax a bit and we played a fun new card game. We have a great time with our friends and the kids all get along so well. Here are some pictures of our trip.
