"I want the temple in the background"
Every year my parents like to get us together to go up to the Draper arena to go horseback riding. This year was no exception. The kids are getting so good. They aren't afraid of riding anymore and I am not afraid to let them go out on their own. They are amazing. They both get out in the arena in the sand and let the horses go. It always takes them a minute to Trot and then a minute more to Gallup but once they do it once and remember that they can, off they go.
This year my mom had this cute idea to have each one of us walk toward us on the horse so that she could get a picture of us on the horse with the Draper Temple in the background. It became funnier and funnier though when she kept having us do it again and again so that she could get a good shot.
We headed down into the gully for a walk and the kids had fun jumping over the stream trying not to get wet. Trying is the optimal word. It was a fun day and I am sure glad that my mom and dad comes up with the idea each year.
