USATF Utah Jr. Olympics XC

Wow thats a mouthfull. XC for short. Savannah loved running so much this year that she decided to try and run for the State race. It was a really, really hard race, up and down hills, on the grass. Savannah hates running on the grass. She did really good and she did qualify for the regional race in Arizona but we decided to wait another year before she tries that. While we were waiting for the race to start, a big hot air balloon decided to land in the middle of the park. It was so cool.

She's a Teenager.....

Holy Moly, the time goes so dang fast.  It seems like yesterday Savannah was just born and now she is an official teenager.  Savannah turned 13 this year and I cant believe it.  She acts like a teenager too!!!  She is into school, friends, boys, rollerblading, reading, hanging out, watching TV, playing on the computer, facebooking, running, playing the guitar, and did I mention reading.  Ever since she read the Hunger Games trilogy she reads everything she can get her hands on.  That is why we got her a kindle for her birthday.  It was the final night of the school play on the night of her birthday so we had a late party for her with just us 4.  I went all out and got her mint chocolate brownies and orange sherbet ice cream for us to eat.  It was a great night going to the play to watch the kids and then having a yummy dessert.  Happy 13th Birthday Savannah!!!

Savannah's Technology Fair

On April 6th 2011, I had a Technology Fair for school. It was for CTE and we had to have partners so I picked my friends. My partners were Madi, Lacey and Cierra. What our project was for the Technology fair was a "Justin Beiber waffle maker." We had to make flyers, a poster, a website, a model, a sketchup and business cards. Before we started our project we had to make a toy invention. Our toy was called "Blanket Buddies." It had a head, arms and feet and it was a blanket. We did not win any prizes but it was really fun.
