A Smorgusborg of Activities

So lots has been going on here at the Burrell Home. First, Baseball and Softball Season has started. Do you know what that means? That means lots of fast food dinners at practices and games and some very tired but very happy kids. I will let each of the pictures tell the stories.

First Nick and Baseball.Nick Swings, and he HITS IT!!!!!! Nick's Fastball, my camera even missed the pitch. S-T-R-IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-K-E!!!!! Your'e OUT!!!

This Video is of Nick's first Double. It was AWESOME!!!

Next we have Savannah and Softball.

Yes, believe it, this is Savannah as Catcher.Nice Snag Savannah. (Pictures of her batting to be posted another day.)

Now, The BEES Game. Shawn got a Suite at the Bees Baseball game and took us out. It was a fun night for all. The kids each took a friend and they had a blast. They ate everything they could get their hands on and we bought them all souvenirs. The girls chased the Bee Mascot around (Bumble) until they could get him to sign everything. Nick went down close to third base and had Shawn catch him a Foul Ball, (you should see the bruise Shawn got on his knee from jumping over the chairs, it was twice as big as a baseball.) All in all it was a terrific evening, thanks dad!!!

Nick and his friend Drake out on the Suite's balcony seats.Savannah and her friend Kennidee looking for cute boys!!

Next is the Clark Planetarium. Shawn and Tony took the kids to the Planetarium one day last week. They had a great time looking at all the exhibits and watching the movie about the Ocean.

Nick and Savannah playing on Mars.
Nick's favorite exhibit was a two story ball drop. He kept coming back to it.The kids spent some time pretending to be meteorologists.

Next is the Day that Nick and I spent together on his Field Trip to the State Capitol.

Nick really was happy I came, really he was, I promise. I had the gall to ask if I could get a picture with him in front of his friends (and a cute girl named Taylor) and this is the face I got.My cute little group. They were so good all day. I had a blast.

Last but not least yesterday we spent the day park hopping at Daybreak. They have lots of parks around the lake and in the Neighborhood. This is a fun toy that the kids and I climbed.

Your schedule sounds as crazy as our has been...tis the season though, right. This is such a busy time of year.

Love the pic of you and Nick in his classroom. You guys will get some great laughs out of that years down the road.
