M.I.A.--"Missing in Action"

Yep we are still here. The kids went off-track for school and it has kinda thrown my schedule "off-track!" Even though it has been almost a month since I have posted, I don't have too much to say. We have pretty much been "lumps on a log" since school let out. Here is what you missed.

1. Savannah got a palate-expander, then got 5 teeth pulled, then got a space maintainer. OUCH!!!! I guess it is what we have to do to get beautiful teeth. Her palate-expander made a space in her two front teeth about a tooth and a half wide. Now her back teeth are staying put and her two front teeth are moving back together. It has been so cool to watch. Here is a picture of her about a week into the expansion.2. The Super-Bowl was spent at my parents house with everyone. We watched the game (the commercials for me) and the kids made cookies with grandma.
Shawn and Rylan watching the 3-D commercial

Making cookies with Grandma Savannah watching the game with her dad.

3. Valentines Day was a Family Affair. Nick and I went and got Chinese Food, and when we got home, Savannah and Shawn had the table all set with flowers and candles. I got everyone a bag of their favorite kisses and we all enjoyed a yummy Chinese dinner. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of it so all of you will need to use your imaginations for this one.

4. We finished off our Jr. Jazz season with a bang. The kids both did really well this year and they had a blast playing. I got a bunch of pictures but they are all fuzzy ( I think my camera is having problems, I need to get it checked out) but here are a few cute pictures of the kids in action.Savannah has the ball!!!Nick has the ball!!!

5. We finished out our off-track time with a trip to Sunny St. George. It wasn't super warm but it was warmer than Salt Lake. The kids and I headed down there on Monday so we could beat the storm that was on its way in. We stopped in Beaver at a Dairy Queen to have ice-cream with Tony and Charayne who were on their way home from St. George. It was fun to meet them part-way and the kids had a blast. We spent time alone with my mom for a few days before Shawn and my Dad came down. We had fun just hanging out and spending time together. On Saturday we decided to head over to Las Vegas for the day since it had been a few years since we had taken the kids. We spent a little while exploring the strip, had a fun but expensive time at the M&M store and finished off our trip with a yummy buffet at Excalibur's. It was a day well spent as a family and the kids had a blast. Me and Nick at New-York, New-York's kid zone.Us in front of "The Statue of Liberty--Las Vegas style"He is so cute!!!Savannah and "Green"The kid's with Grandpa and Grandma Simister in front of the Strip.

All in all it was a good Off-Track and we had alot of fun.

What, no lazer tag or ice cream? I feel so left out. JK. It was good to see you, and I am glad you got home safe.

Wow, you are so good at posting what's been going on. I have been such a slacker, it seems like I have nothing to post or blog about, but then I look at yours and there we are. So thanks for keeping record for us! :)
