So the last day at sea on our Cruise ended up being rainy and cold. No more sun for us. We spent the day watching shows, walking the shops, going to the buffet over and over, reading books, eating ice cream, playing in the arcade, playing bingo, the kids going to the kids club rooms and anything else that would keep us out of the cold. The kids even went swimming in the hot tubs and tried to use up the rest of the waterproof cameras that we had. It was kinda a bummer that it was so cold and it was a quick check back into reality.
The last night we went to the Variety show that the Cruise put on. They had passengers from the ship go up and perform musical numbers for us. Some of them were good and some of them were BAD. Really BAD, but it was fun and a good way to end our trip. The kids were plum wore out by then and they pretty much slept through the show.
On our final morning, they make you wait out on deck for your turn to get off. It actually was warm and sunny that day. How does that always happen. Cold when you don't want it to be cold and Warm when it doesn't really matter. We watched Shawn and the kids have Chess Tournaments out on the big Chess Set. It was pretty cool. Once we got off the boat, we had a bunch of time before we had to be back in Houston for our flight so we went back to the "Fishing Bridge" to check it out since it was open.
The flight home was long and uneventful (thankfully.) I don't think we could take a repeat of the outgoing flights. It was an awesome trip and I can't wait to do it again.....eventually.
