They both turned 12 last month and Erin and I decided to have a HUGE party. We let the girls invite some friends, we got into Erin's big ol' car and we headed down to St. George. Yes, 6 girls and 2 very scared Moms. It was a complete blast. The girls from Left to Right are Savannah, Bailey, Lacey, Madison, Kadie and Emily.
We started the party out with some Oobees. Oobees, with an "O". They are slippers with hard soles on the bottom so that they can be worn outside. The girls all got matching ones. Aren't they cute?
When we got to the Condo in St. George, the girls were met with a surprise. The whole Condo had been totally decorated by my sweet cousin Madison Clymore and my Amazing Aunt Wendy. You can kinda see it in the background of the picture. The girls loved it. Since the weather when we got down to St. George was a balmy 65 degrees, (yes, I mean balmy after the 40 degree weather we have been having in Salt Lake) the girls decided that the first thing that they wanted to do was go swimming. Erin and I decided to watch from the side. The girls were probably warmer than us though because the pool is heated.
After swimming it was time for dinner, yummy Italian chicken and rice and then it was time for presents and cake. Keep in mind that Savannah and Madison had this party planned down to the second, so Erin and I just had to follow the schedule that they had put together.
The Big Joke of the Night was the gift that Bailey gave to Savannah. The girls couldn't stop laughing. Yes, that is a roll of Toilet Paper.
The Cake that we got was a "Nothing Bundt Cake" cake. It was a Chocolate, Chocolate Chip cake with Cream cheese frosting. YUMMY!!!!!!
The next day started too early for me after a Late, Late night by the girls. We started out with a delicious breakfast of Belgian Waffles. We then headed off for a busy day. We made our way through the crazy traffic, ( I didn't know it was going to be the Iron Man down in St. George that weekend, oops on the party planner) and finally made it to the Laser Tag place. Here are some Awesome "007" Pics.
After the Movie it was off to our very favorite place to eat in St. George. Mongolian BBQ. YUMMO!!!!! It's an old place, kinda a little divey, but we love the food there. Savannah didn't want to go anywhere else. I think that the girls liked it too after they got the tutorial of how it all works. You fill your bowl with the meat of your choice, pile on your favorite vege's, and then pile on the noodles. You then ask the cooks to please do your sauce, (they seem to get the mixture just right) and then you watch it cook. Then you enjoy. Again I say YUMMO!!!!!
After dinner, it was more swimming, eating more cake, games and then they ended the night with a Classic Movie, "Savannah Smiles". Most of the girls had never seen it. Can you see Bootsie and Alvie on the TV in the background. That wasn't planned. I just wanted a picture of the girls laying across the living room floor.
The next day we all pitched in on the cleaning so we would have time to stop off at "The Crack" on our way out of town. All in all it was a terrific weekend full of awesome memories.
HAPPY 12TH BIRTHDAY SAVANNAH AND MADISON. WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!
